The Gauteng Enterprise Propeller (GEP) promotes, fosters and develops small enterprises in Gauteng thereby implementing the policy of the Gauteng Provincial Government for small enterprise development.

Zero tolerance on fraud and corruption

Gauteng Enterprise Propeller has adopted a zero tolerance to incidents of fraud and corruption, including their related incidents. All stakeholders, including employees, suppliers and clients are encouraged to report irregular, fruitless and wasteful expenditure, maladministration, fraud, corruption, theft, bribery, dishonesty, harassment, intimidation and blackmail and other related incidents.

GEP started operating in 2005 and its formation was informed by the province’s Growth and Development Strategy (GDS) which had identified SMME Development as one of the key levers to address the triple challenges of Unemployment, Poverty and Inequality.
